How to assemble a boat
For those who live near water bodies, a home-made vessel is a must. Not everyone has the opportunity to purchase a boat, boat or yacht. In this case, ingenuity and the desire to do something with your own hands can come to the rescue.

Instruction
—
Purchase or draw drawings of the future boat yourself, write down the length, width and thickness of all the details to millimeters, make sure that the stability is not impaired. Calculate the amount of materials needed for construction and all the necessary tools for assembling the boat. Make sure the quality of the raw materials you use and the positive feedback from the tool manufacturing companies.
—
Make your own or order the details of the future boat. If you decide to purchase them, check each board, and if you are not satisfied with the quality of even one part, return it to the manufacturer and ask for a replacement.
—
Lay out the finished parts on the floor. Start assembling the boat from the sides. To do this, put the corresponding boards with the marks up, and put the middle frame between them. Then mark all the places where the parts will be attached, drill holes and connect the sides to the middle frame. Install and secure the stem and transom in the same way.
—
Connect both bottom boards together and install the bottom on the body. After that, sew the hull, moving from the bow of the boat to its stern. Tape all joints with painter’s tape to prevent glue from escaping. Then turn the assembled structure over, cover it with glue and glue it with fiberglass. Remove air bubbles from under the fiberglass.
—
Treat all surfaces with diluted epoxy glue and remove the adhesive tape from the bottom of the resulting structure. Sand and tape all corners, then clean all surfaces.
—
Go to add-on collection. Use the schemes according to which they were made, and step by step repeat all the steps that you performed when assembling the frame and bottom of the future boat. After the last cleaning of superstructures, paint the boat with 2 coats of epoxy paint and 2 coats of enamel paint.
