One of the most loved by kids and popular among mothers of “children’s” dishes is an omelette. We offer several recipes for a delicious and tender omelet for your baby.

Children’s omelet can be sweet and savory, served with jam, jam, fruit puree or other dressings that the child likes. But no matter which way you choose to serve the dish, first you need to cook the omelette itself. We will tell you several ways to make an omelette light and melt in your mouth, which, of course, your baby will like.

Steam omelet

To make an omelette you will need:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Art. l. milk
  • butter
  • salt, sugar, additives and essences

Cooking:

1. Beat milk and eggs until frothy.

2. Add salt or sugar, depending on what kind of omelette you want to make. You can also add some vanilla to the sweet version.

3. Boil water in a wide saucepan. Grease a baking dish with butter. Pour the egg-milk mixture into it.

4. Place the mold in a saucepan and “cook” until tender.

5. Remove the mold and turn over the plate. Thanks to the lubrication with oil, the omelette will easily come off.

You can serve an omelet either on its own or with various additives.

Omelet “boiled”

You will need almost the same ingredients for a “boiled” omelette as for a steam one:

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Art. l. milk
  • salt, sugar, additives and essences

Cooking:

1. Separate the whites from the yolks. Separately, beat the whites with a mixer until the consistency of a thick foam.

2. Add slightly warmed milk and continue whisking.

3. In a separate container, beat the yolks.

4. Add salt or sugar to both containers.

5. Boil water in a saucepan. Gently pour the protein-milk mixture into the boiling water. Let her harden a little.

6. Pour the beaten yolks into the pan. Wait a minute until the whites and yolks are cooked. Drain the water.

7. You can serve an omelet either on its own or as a side dish.

A “boiled” omelet will delight not only your baby’s taste, but will also serve as a “toy” for him, because his appearance will resemble the original incomprehensible figures.

Pancake omelettePancake omelette

This recipe is perfect for older kids. To prepare it you will need:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 st. l. sour cream
  • butter
  • salt, sugar, additives and essences

Cooking:

1. Beat sour cream and eggs in one container.

2. Add salt or sugar to taste.

3. Rub the pan with butter. Pour the egg-sour cream mixture over it.

4. When the omelette rises, turn it over and fry on the other side.

5. Spread the finished omelette (sweet) with jam or fruit puree and fold it into an envelope.

Thanks to the replacement of milk with sour cream, the omelette does not rise much and after cooking it is very similar to a pancake.

Enjoy your meal!
